This year our garden is probably the most productive it's ever been. The photo shows a days harvest! More courgettes than we can eat or give away, lots of potatoes, chard, onions, garlic, lettuce, peas, broad beans, runner beans. Meals these days consist of various permutations of these veggies. Lunch today was mackeral (caught by a friend) for him, homemade felafels for me, spinach (chard!), parsley & courgette patties, broad beans, potatoes, plain boiled with just butter and salt. A wonderful seasonal homegrown bountiful feast!
