I am writing this as a way of resurrecting this blog.
Originally I set it up to document my adventures in 16 mm film-making for my sponsors but now that's over, the blog just fell by the wayside. I don't know if I will find an alternative, or even complementary direction for it. Only time will tell. For now, it suffices to say i intend to write something here to feed into the blogosphere. I could document my other, continuing, adventures in photography, film and video. That would indeed be nice, so perhaps that's the way. It may even be an incentive to get working on some projects that have been waiting on the back burner for most of last year while I worked on some freelance gigs - as well as having a full-time job! It has been a busy year.
I did a number of freelance projects - including two weddings, a music video, promo videos and an internet documentary series. In personal news, I made a super 8 film - even though I shot the footage in 2007 - and made forays into medium format photography with a medium format Holga and an old-fashioned Yashika medium format. I also resurrected a 1967 Polaroid camera and bought film for it. Unfortunately I haven't actually shot anything with it as the battery is gone, archaic, discontinued, unavailable for purchase. So I need to find another solution for this. Will post about that too!
Look like I have a lot to do and a lot to blog about. The technical and creative side of my work. Currently working on a sondtrack for the super 8 piece called "The Sky is on the Ground" or "The Sky is Falling" or "Walking on the Sky". I'm undecided.
